Especialy expansion plans>>>
"McAfee will also expand internationally, making a big push into the Japanese and European markets in the coming year, Sampath says. But he notes that the site is no stranger to the international community, since about 30% of its paid subscribers come from outside the U.S.

Perhaps the most interesting part of its expansion plans is the move to become more of a portal destination. Sampath says the site will morph into a platform for online services and will become an aggregator of these services in much the same way that America Online (nyse: AOL) and other major portal destinations like Yahoo! (nasdaq: YHOO) and eBay (nasdaq: EBAY) have evolved.

He says that the site has enough leverage to achieve this lofty goal, since users spend 15 to 20 minutes at a time on the site and about 30% of users come back seven times or more per month. Sampath says there are "a lot of deals in the works"--including possible acquisitions and partnerships--that could facilitate this transition, though he declined to be more specific.

I'm a user of their products and have always been satisfied with them. :) N.C.
