Bill,

IMO EJB (Enterprise Java beans) will be the first big moneymaker for SUN as far as Java goes. A LOT of corporate business software development is going this way and almost all application server companies are building EJB in. My app server vendor candidly told me that SUN is demanding 2 to 3% of their revenues from sales of their app server.

You have to hand it to SUN. While they are trying to become the next MSFT they keep hammering at MSFT to deflect attention from themselves - all the time creating their own monopoly with Java that has the potential (IMO) to one day dwarf MSFTs current monopoly.
