Jeff, Do you read all the articles that you post??? What observations to make about ethernet switches/routers? Looks like layer 3 routers with cut-through technology are the way of the future. Everyone wants fully routed packets (not cut-through), but then that's not really a switch anymore, and it will never perform as well as the non-routed (cut-through) solutions. Seems that everyone is pursuing the same technology so the question becomes who will succeed in the sales and support channel and at what margins. Too bad CPQ had to jump in. Now that they're networkers I see their stock is going down.
