Neat observation about Gibson's Catholicism lending insight into the sense of the sacred and what was worth fighting for.

I heard that his father gave a lot of money to the Society of St. Pius V, a group that broke with the Society of St. Pius X. They thought the Lefebvrists were too accommodating to Rome! They truly are sedevacantists.

What did you think of the Battle of Agincourt scene in Henry V? The one with Kenneth Branagh, not the Olivier. It just may surpass Braveheart in its realism and intensity.
