Talk about exciting bids of human nature........

bidonme.com (under construction), and the concept is outrageous, but doable.

Get five bids and the job of your dream when you put yourself up for sale in an online auction. You could be a director of IT for a multimedia company, in web development, and whamo, land a higher paying job based on inter-related criteria.

Human auctions are perhaps the inevitable next step to follow the frenzy in online bidding on everything from Beanie Babies to baby strollers. At least four sites inviting bids on people and their talents have been launched since July, three of them targeted at high-tech talent.

So far the sites have generated far more interest among people seeking jobs than among companies ready to hire. Nevertheless, observers say talent auctions have potential, especially for high-demand fields like IT, and for freelancers and contract workers.

Could it be a concept whose time has not yet come?, we shall see.

Looks like fun stuff to me.....
