When I was 18 I swore that I wouldn't buy an American car. I remeber all those lemon American cars that my parents had in the 70s when I was growing up. But then GM started it's Saturn division in the late 80s, which became highly regarded amongst the gen-Xers like myself. I brought a Saturn a couple of years ago and love it. It's been just as reliable as my Honda was. I think the U.S. car companies finally got a clue and started making quality cars. Saturn has certainly changed my perception of U.S. cars.
