Rudedog is NOT a reliable source for analytical information.
This guy is a former MSFT employee and is a familiar face
on the MSFT threads. His purpose is purely political and
religious on the side of Wintel.

This posting reads more like an editorial opinion
rather than a tech analysis of the Starfire. Where's the
beef??? When he refers to a Gartner group report on the
supposed reliability problems that Starfire has, where
are the specifics??? Let's see some documented evidence
first.

On the OTHER side of the argument here is a FACT: SUNW has
just opened a new manufacturing facility for Starfire in
Newark, CA just to keep up with the DEMAND for the machines.
