It's not for daytrading. option executions from a few seconds to a few minutes. I always used limit orders. I did only 2 stock trades yet, fills have been reported in a few seconds stock commission with internet trading $8 flat for market add $5 for stop and limit orders options commission internet trading with discount $25+$1.75 per contract with $29 minimum commission try ameritrade.com and click on fee schedule I have the account since beginning of september a didn't need to call them yet.
