Will the upgrade of AT & T stock benefit Salomon? Conflict of interest? Stocks have been ignored, upgraded and downgraded for other than fundamental reasons for a long time. Can anything be done to help investors recognize the harm games or unethical conduct have on their own investments. Why is no one speaking up ? - markets are strong, no reasons to complain - investors have no hope that this conduct will ever change - investors are intimidated by the markets in general - regulatory bodies are in bed with the big brokerage firms and with the major stock exchanges.
