Does anybody know of any trading software that offers
automation ? For example, I would like to write a script to
enter, cancel, adjust the orders based on the market action.

Dennis:

I don't know of anyone that publically offers automated trading capability. This would likely open the firm up to liability lawsuits when their automated system actually lost money... fast! However, automated trading is certainly a staple of proprietary institutional and hedge fund trading. For the individual trader, however, it requires quite a bit of computer skills to program all of the necessary computer programs to do this from ground zero. My partner and I have been developing our automated trading system for 3 years. We began trading with our automated system over a year ago and have been very pleased with it. It is an ongoing development effort, but worth the time.
