marcos - there is still a post at the link you provided. Is this the one you meant? ===paste=== By: Wavey Reply To: None Thursday, 18 Nov 1999 at 3:25 AM EST Post # of 206
Caution to all shareholders:
Following is a post I placed on stockhouse, another popular thread. I thought I should paste it here to see if there are any comments. I am still long on this deal, but someone should approach management and give them $hit, or at least let them know we're not stupid...
Also understand that this post might seem confusing since when I posted this earlier this week on stockhouse, I included a previous paste in the post that I had done when the company was still named promark. Anyway, everything below here is a copy of my stockhouse post;
Firstoff, following is a previous post I did on this comapny before it changed names:
This is a tough one to figuer out. I am in a nice position in that I picked up my paper in the bowels of winter for 0.09 canadian, have since sold enough at ).27 cdn to cover my inital purchase, and I am trying to be greedy with the rest. I was also in on the runup the previous year, and the reason I repurchased is that John Henry still holds a ton of paper, and I saw that someone was buying cheap paper during the winter blah-blahs, a time when all good (or should I say crooked) promoters pick up their paper.
I have been trading for years, and you can never figure these guys out!! Just when you feel this thing is set for takeoff, it backs off, and just when you think the deal heading south, the paper get's cleaned up again. However, I don't think these guys listed on the cowboy board for nothing, and considering that the crooks still hold a ton of paper, the upside looks good, it's just that the deal will fly on their time frame and not ours!
End of previous post.
Ther point is that these guys are as crooked as they come, and anyone want to make a guess as to who was unloading paper this morning and the last few hours of trading on Friday?? I will tell you who - the insiders, the same dudes who were loading up at 0.14 - 0.18.. They did the same thing on the VSE: load up on cheap paper, hype it up, unload the paper for a nice 50% hit, and start over again. The net result is that their net positions are unchanged in that they just sold as much as they bought, but they make a nice tidy profit!!! let's fact it, these guys ar the market makers so they control the stock. The reason they left the VSE is that it was getting too difficult to pull their usual scams on that board, and investors were growing weary of them. The bottom line is that they are their own worst enemies in that every time they run the stock up, they are ths same people who drive it back down. They don't give a $hit about the company as the only thing the comapny serves as is a vehicle to manipulate the public.
Any comments? I would also like to know if they were shorting the deal at 0.30 - probably were. Anyhow, I am just reiterating my warning to all of you that John Henry and crew are the biggest bunch of stock manipulators that I have ever come accross and they don't deserve our support. I got fooled too and thought that perhaps these guys are serious about clip-clop, but the only thing that they are serious about is duping the public!!! I still have my shares, as mentioned above, I sold enough to recoup significantly more than my original investment and will stay on for a while, but i am convinced that these insiders will never let this deal fly as long as they can trade it!!!
Good Luck to all, but beware..

...Mezz - My post was not meant to cast any aspersions on my neighbors in the Great White North. I object just as strongly to 'murrican judges who engage in similar bonehead behavior. Have a Tuborg on me, eh? :-)) |
