Poor Talisman, Why us?

Look harder, and you'll see it's not just Talisman - and it's not Secretary of State Albright, nor is it F.M. Axworthy.

Look further (on the web) and you'll see that CNPC, Goldman Sachs, Price Waterhouse Coopers, and others involved in Sudan are all being criticized by the same people that are criticizing TLM.

But Andy and the rest of the TLM team don't want investors to notice that....

For those of us around since the Arakis days, the Canadian protestors were also out protesting Arakis - but had a harder time since there was not as diverse shareholder group (and other than State Street Research, tended to be very quiet about their holdings).

We and TLM also need to remember that since it is also traded on the NYSE, and has a number of large US investors (including government entities) it's more subject to US public interest protests than Arakis ever was.

FYI - there was something in the LA Times about a protest scheduled tomorrow outside of Capital Group's headquarters in Los Angeles - they reportedly control some 7.7 million shares of TLM.

Where is Zeev and his couch, when we really need him?
