Well, bp, I might be the only current shareholder on this thread who, despite being happy, let out a big groan when I saw NTAP jump; then I mumbled, "Oh, no."

Some of my shares are in a regular account and others, in an IRA. This weekend I decided what I wanted to move from my regular IRA to my Roth. Some of the NTAP shares were going to be moved.

I am now actually hoping for a quick dip so I can pick up the phone and tell the person at Schwab, "Move them now!"

I'm finding it more difficult to determine when to move shares of things to the Roth than I have just buying something. A LTBH type by nature, who does put in market orders, this moving over game (to minimize my tax liability) requires a real mental shift, similar, I think, to that of a day trader.
