HG and Amein,
Don't mean to butt in but am also watching CMGI closely--your posts have echoed my thoughts, since I am holding both long stock and long december call options right now.
HG, I had also heard that 80% of options expire worthless, but recently I attended the San Francisco Money Show, and the Options Industry Council people, plus the options people at OPTIONINVESTOR.COM debunked that myth...said only 40% or so expire worthless (forgive me, I don't have my notes here so that # is an estimate). I also recall them saying the same thing about the put/call ratio, that we can't accurately decipher the #'s.
According to point and figure charting, which I follow, CMGI is still firing on all cylinders, however, pullbacks are to be expected along the way. I know a few option services are recommending CMGI calls now...saying that if it breaks resistance at 170 it will fly again.
Of course, all these are good problems to have, right?...what to do with a stock that has run 70 points in a few weeks :).
