As I said earlier, I think the fact that Mercury now has proven proprietory software that is now fully operational is a major milestone for this company, obviously starting to bring in many more investors. I think this "fresh" buying will continue for some time as there are still many more people who are only beginning to become aware of what Mercury has (and what their competitors don't), and the enormous potential that is there for this company.

I have my own suspicions as well as to whether Mercury could be a takeover target. I think at some point this will be inevitable. Mercury is still a small company (this is obviously going to change) who has some very large industry competitors such as Saber. These "competitors" do NOT have what Mercury has in any way shape or form, but will definitely need it to stay competitive. Now if you were a competitor, what would you want to do. Spend the next several years trying to (hopefully) duplicate what Mercury has operational, spend a fortune on R&D...and loose market share in the process due to the time lag bringing the product to market....or simply buy out Merucury while it is still possible (albeit for a much much higher price now!!)

The thread may not be aware of this, but I can state that American Airlines has been in talking to Mercury. Now some may not realize the full intent of this statement. Not only is American a Tier 1 airline, but they also just happen to be the parent company of Saber. I'll let people do their own "math" on that one! :)

Given the trading volume and the strong organized buying, I strongly suspect there is something more brewing at Mercury. The market is just speaking way to strongly for there not to be. I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear more good (great) news from the company. And then on top of that, add in the eventual takeover of Mercury at some point in the future. Imho, you'll see a share price much higher than it is today.

Holding and smiling.

Regards,

Kevin
