David, From the Yahoo thread - OK, guys maybe this will give all you goom and doomers out there a boost. The Dec 1999 Special Year-end Issue of Future Banker spotlights the top 25 technology deals of 1999. Deal #10 is the IDX/Infineon alliance. The full page article says, among other things, that this alliance may be the "Boost that fingerprint identification technology desparately needs in its battle to dislodge personal identification numbers". IT IS A VERY POSITIVE ARTICLE. In case anyone forgot, Infineon is a Siemens spinoff. messages.yahoo.com David, can you post the pertinent information for us in more detail? Thanks. Rick
