First Plains Construction Announces Native American Exclusive With Home Builder's Network
OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Dustan R. Shepherd, president of First Plains Construction, a subsidiary of AmeriResource Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ARET - news), announced today that the company has finalized an agreement with Home Builder's Network, LLC (HBN), Waterbury, Connecticut, to provide exclusive sales and marketing services for Native American home buyers located in the United States and Canada.
As a national home sales and marketing agency, HBN represents home manufacturers and suppliers in the residential construction industry. As the exclusive representative for Indian Country, First Plains will utilize HBN's alliances with its suppliers to professionally market and deliver new homes to Native American home buyers and Native American housing entities. First Plains' customers may include the owner builder, local builders, the tribe acting as the builder for their tribal members or in building their own housing stock. First Plains will also use HBN when contracting a full-turn key construction for tribal housing and individual Native American home buyers.
Under their private-label program, HBN ( www.hbnsales.com ) is supported by the largest privately-owned building material company in the country. This supplier provides materials, delivery and personalized one-to-one service with helpful advice from start to finish. Through its network of employees in approximately 400 locations, this 43-year-old company has helped thousands of people build homes.
HBN is continually adding new suppliers to their housing menu and will be rolling out a new private-label program for modular housing in the next few weeks. The company has also initiated conversations with log home and structural insulated panel (SIP) manufacturers.
Mr. Shepherd commented, ''First Plains' immediate focus will be to implement a sales force and to begin marketing HBN's program to tribal housing entities. Each year tribes spend hundreds of millions of dollars to build housing for tribal members, usually for rental or lease-to-own programs. I have spent a great deal of time on reservations over the last five years and have witnessed firsthand the excessive markup that many tribes pay for their housing materials. I feel confident that through this relationship we can competitively supply materials and services to any reservation in the U.S. and Canada.''
Shepherd continued, ''First Plains will also begin a marketing campaign directed at First Americans Mortgage Corporation (FAMC) customers. The partnership with Home Builders Network, coupled with FAMC's recent announcements pertaining to construction lending and new product development, positions ARET and its subsidiaries in the final stages of implementing a full turn-key financing/construction package for Native American home buyers.''
''We are pleased to announce this strategic alliance with First Plains Construction. Home Builder's Network, LLC (HBN) welcomes the opportunity to serve Native American housing needs with its complete line of quality homes and competitive pricing,'' says John M. Bedosky, President of HBN. ''We will work closely with First Plains and First Americans Mortgage to deliver quality homes and superior service to Indian Country and help open the door to home ownership.''
The release may contain forward looking statements that involve risk and uncertainties, including, without limitation, continued acceptance of the Company's products and services, increased levels of competition, new products and technological changes, the Company's dependency on financing, third party suppliers and intellectual property rights and other risks detailed from time to time in the company's federal filings, annual report, offering, memorandums or prospectus.
