But what do you think about it's viability going forward? Do you think it has been discredited? I think for us- well read Westerners- it has been proved to be a bust- but for the poor and uneducated (as you say - "the people with nothing to lose" it probably still has appeal. So perhaps as long as there are people who have nothing to lose Communism will have appeal in some quarter- the size of said quarter depending on the number of people with nothing to lose.
