Not behind your back, maybe when you weren't looking VBG. Quite frankly I usually inform threads ASAP after I sell some holdings, though I am under no obligation to do so, I try my best to be as the saying goes "transparent". I must be quite good at this as some people say they can see right through me ggggg.
I definitely would not recommend anyone take my trades as advice, not even on the Twisted Minds Golden Thread, ha ha! As a matter of fact I have reduced all my holdings to the bare minimum, including my equally beloved oil and Nat Gas stocks. This was difficult for me to do, so I did it quickly on the open this morning. The combination of Y2K looming, tax loss selling and the effect of unseasonably warm weather (that dadblasted North Atlantic Oscillation!) among my favorite oilies, compounded with Easy Al's Techie Bubble Market leaves me with only one yearning left for the market.
A nice big juicy short on the right day followed by some real bottom fishing on some of the lunkers I follow, later.
Now the odds of the shorts and bargains coming together are about as good as two feet of snow for Christmas here in the southern Susquehanna Valley of PA. But I like the idea of sitting on cash free to pursue the direction of the market whatever that may be. I would NOT say I have a high confidence level in this strategy, it is probably a twisted minds play.
It is however what I feel compelled to do.
Even so, AEM remains high on my shopping list.
