Eric, if you'll go back to the first few hundred posts you'll see that we are admitted heretics when it comes to the market basket approach. From day one we decided to direct our efforts (and cash) towards emerged Gorillas and Kings, feeling that these offered an easier lock on profits and safety. One of the gang established a sister thread devoted to identifying likely markets for basketing, but it folded due to lack of interest in the hard work that process entailed. Our concession to Moore's methodology was to establish the Watch & Wait Portfolio. We tuck Shiny Pebbles there until they reach a market cap of $10B and display royal or pongoid traits, and then promote them to the Gorilla & King Index.
