Don't shoot the messenger GST! I have no clue how the index managers work...seems to me they could have bought today or yesterday, etc., but Pisani from CNBC did a segment on it tonight around 6:30 or so. His point was that, due to the large market cap of Yahoo, the index managers would be buying X shares of Yahoo (don't remember the #) and selling X shares of MSFT and GE at the close tomorrow. He said it would not affect MFST since it was a small percentage of the daily turnover, but it might pressure GE.
Don't know if that's a spin story, but that's what he said!
