FranQ*,
My point is a portfolio put in the potential G&K stocks should do better than a portfolio of stocks that have already made the large cap list. I know they aren't portfolios, just a listing of discussed stocks. I would like to have 10,000 shares of INTC as a mature stable stock with good yearly growth and support but I won't buy them today. I will however position enough Q* stock that will develop into 10,000 shares with announced and future splits. JDSU, BRCM, NT, have potential also because of their unique franchise and market position. These companies may be the future G&K and the time to buy them is now, not when they have made the large cap list. All these mentioned stocks are overpriced, ask someone you know who never bought MSFT why and the most common answer is "It was always too much money" In my market talks to investment managers and groups the common thread is the good stocks are overpriced. AOL is a great stock and a Gorilla. I closed my position in March and bought QCOM because hypergrowth for AOL is over. Can QCOM double and triple from here?
