Rich, remember that Timna will feature an integrated RDRAM controller right onto the core. This will reduce memory access latencies for the processor, while still providing enough bandwidth for the integrated graphics controller.

However, Timna could be introduced with SDRAM (via the MRH-S translator) as an interim solution until the price of RDRAM comes down to a low enough level for the value PC market. Performance will suffer because of the longer latency caused by the MRH-D, not to mention the reduced bandwidth. But I think Timna w/ SDRAM will still have an acceptable price/performance ratio.
