Jim, Cowpland's statement about bringing technology to Linux demonstates to me the guy is clueless. I don't think he was lying but believes what he said. Having a piece of paper means that at least someone has an ability to tell other's what they what to hear and not that one understands. I've worked with many with and without paper. No educational institutions give out degrees in common sense.

I personally found out what a wall switch does when I was about 8 and I wired some lights in the basement in the house where I lived. The house survived my first attempt, the swithch did not. But that puff sparkling failure taught me a lot.

Now tonight I went to a talk by Eric Raymond. It was great and gave me more insights into the how and why of the open source movement. I've got to read more of Raymond's papers and think. Now who is going to benefit from Linux?????
