ya you can file a mining claim too ,, but the minute you do you disclose the exact location.. but before you file ya want to check out the area real good to make sure you have all your bases covered ,, know what kind of claim ya got wheather it is a load claim or a placer claim,, ya want to make sure someone don't file a placer over your load claim and you want to make sure your point of discovery is in the right place and ya know which way the vien is running.. ya want to make sure your corner posts ar in right and not off a degree so no sneaky lawyer can find fault in your claim, ya want to know how deep yer claim is runnin and how far,, ya want to know what all the mineral is and yer assays..
cause the minute ya file.. yer makin a public record and yer openin it to everyone...
