News I got off the wires about KLM:
Unions representing KLM workers have said the Dutch airline should temporarily stop paying dividends to shareholders, the Dutch news agency ANP reported on Thursday.

ANP said the FNV and CNV Transport unions were calling for a temporary freeze on dividend payments, so shareholders would also bear part of the burden of the airline's drive to cut costs and boost operating profits.

The agency said union leaders and KLM management would meet again on May 2 to discuss the Focus 2000 plan, which is aimed at making KLM more profitable.
