NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 7, 1999--deltathree.com, Inc.
(NASDAQ: DDDC.O), a global provider of IP telephony services and other
enhanced, web-based communications services to individuals and
businesses worldwide, will be introducing its Click IT technology into
all merchant listings at CNET's Shopping Services as part of a
comprehensive technology integration and promotional agreement entered
into by the companies.
deltathree.com's e-commerce enabling solution, Click IT, will be
available at no charge to CNET shoppers. Click IT requires a simple,
one-time download and there are no forms to fill out, sign up fees or
per minute charges. Until the full integration is completed later this
week, a demo of the Click IT product is available at
www.deltathree.com.
As part of the comprehensive agreement entered into by the
companies, deltathree.com will power the 1-800 numbers listed for
merchants on CNET Shopper.com and CNET Computers.com. CNET users will
be able to launch a phone call to a merchant's sales representative
from their desktop computers, without logging off of the Internet. In
addition, deltathree.com will become a major sponsor on the CNET
Network, which includes an integrated marketing campaign on CNET
Online and CNET Television over the next two years.
The long-term strategic alliance between the two companies is
further reflected in CNET's current equity holdings in deltathree.com.
"deltathree.com is excited about the CNET relationship and the
many promotional opportunities CNET brings to deltathree.com for
products like Click IT," said Amos Sela, CEO of deltathree.com. "Many
of those who browse online do not make a purchase. Click IT will allow
consumers to feel more comfortable shopping on the web, by enabling
direct voice connections to customer service representatives for
questions and to relay sensitive information."
