Specs, Cree & Nichia blue chips

Cree specifies Radiant Flux of 3.5 mW for their 450nm Deep Blue and 2.5 mW for their 470nm Sign Blue Super Bright LEDs:
cree.com

Nichia specifies Optical Output Power of 4.0 mW for their Chip-Type LED NSCB (Blue) Series:

Both at Ta=25°C, If=20mA DC forward current

Nichia gives Chromaticity Coordinates of x=0.130, y=0.075 z=0.795 (CIE)
From the CIE 1964 table, I'd say 465nm is close enough:

Perhaps Cree has achieved higher brightness in the lab; I'm sure Nichia isn't standing still, either.
