Clock crap revisited. PCs have a 'family' of clocks. They all set themselves from the clock which has a battery so it can withstand your system's power being shut off. This is the clock you must set. On my system, I have a BIOS setup screen. I hold down F2 key while booting to get there. One of the selections sets the 'foundation' clock. If your time still 'wanders', check this clock. Maybe, there's a hardware (battery) problem. It must be tempting to give your system a 'real' boot. Cheers, PW.
