Technicals are weak, no way around that but, fundamentals, if anything, are stronger with the interim decision in the ITC against VISX. The decision weakens the sustainability of the $250 procedure fee LVCI must pay VISX. LVCI also was trading down, unjustifiably in my opinion, on the TLCV news yesterday of weaker procedure growth. TLCV is in different markets facing much higher competition. LVCI, just 2 weeks ago, indicated its November procedure volume was on a record setting pace. Fundamentally, you have to consider buying here with the prospect of buying more if it goes lower.
