Yep, that Netopia 9100 looks good. (I wasn't familiar with it but just read up on it <G>.) Essentially my DSL modem, a Flashpoint 144, is the equivalent of the Netopia 3100I (I had to take IDSL unfortunately). 9100 looks essentially similar but without the modem.

Will the 9100 switch between WANs? I wonder. Or better yet, aggregate bandwidth. Now THAT would be slick for 400 clams <g>. When cable becomes available here I'm seriously considering it for an alternative to DSL besides dial-up. Of course you can always switch wans by reconfiguring the router.

I uplinked the built-in hub in the Flowpoint to a 10/100 autosensing switch to put 100mb on the local lan. Ok, I admit I'm a lan speed junky <g>. Otherwise (except for the built-in modem) my setup is essentially identical to your plan. Let us know how it goes.
