It could be dust, cats, cleaning fluids, improper venting of heaters and such. I'd look into cats first if you have them. They are the worst offenders. The house is literally carrying suspended saliva in all particles. Hire a cleaning lady..that makes a big difference as well. OH yeah, put out that cigar. Me, I love cats!
