Quest Net Corp. (QNET) named Rebecca Del Medico, its outside counsel, as company president and chief operating officer Tuesday.

The Aventura company said Del Medico has 13 years of experience in advising companies in the areas of operations, mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations and securities matters. Among the companies she has represented in the past are Imaging Diagnostic Systems of Plantation and Sky Scientific of Boca Raton.
Company spokesman George Elia said Camilo Pereira remains chairman and chief executive. Quest Net provides Internet access, operates web sites, installs wireless systems and has plans to resell long-distance telephone service, develop Web sites in South Africa and lay a fiber-optic cable from Key West to Havana.
Quest Net shares fell 531/8 cents to $2.621/2 in Tuesday trading on the Nasdaq Electronic Bulletin Board.

If Ms. DelMedico has left IMDS. . . that is the second attorney that has quit IMDS in two years.

Why are all the attorneys jumping ship?
