Gerald, re: "Do people really want to do word processing or read SI on a 52" 16:9 HDTV screen, or watch TV on a 19" computer monitor?"

One, we are talking about coming attractions, what's going to be happening in the next few years. But right now, most people have a master TV, probably a larger screen in the family room. In function, this would be primarily a TV, but with Internet capability. Most folks also have one or two secondary TV's, in bedrooms, sometimes in the kitchen. Then they have one or two PC's, in the den and maybe in a kids bedroom. Doesn't it make sense to you to combine the functions, I assume at a cheaper price than buying a TV & a PC, into one unit? Save space, save money, maybe have a home network (I haven't quite bought into that concept yet)? Hell, it's just a screen displaying information, why not make it so it displays whatever kind of information you want?

We can agree to disagree, OK? Or, you can agree (g).
