The following excerpts from today's press release raises a few questions regarding Ancor's best friend Herb Greenberg as well as future implications :

<<<"Microprocessor speeds are continuing to increase toward gigahertz levels," said Robert Gray, an analyst at Framingham, Mass.-based IDC. "The bandwidth and
connectivity limits of PCI may soon leave server suppliers between a rock and a hard place in supplying systems with balanced computing and I/O performance.
Especially vulnerable are the needs of server clusters. The InfiniBand architecture is going to be an important key in clustering applications. With the strength of the
InfiniBand Trade Association behind it, the InfiniBand architecture will gain wide acceptance over time, and Ancor is well positioned to provide the switch
technology."

The InfiniBand Trade Association is dedicated to developing and promoting the InfiniBand architecture and delivering switched fabric technology. In addition to Intel,
the steering committee is comprised of Compaq Computer, Dell Computer, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Microsoft and Sun Microsystems. Additional sponsor
companies include Adaptec, Cisco Systems, Fujitsu-Siemens, Hitachi, Lucent Technologies, NEC, Nortel Networks and 3Com. >>>

1. Does Herb G know more about technology than the IDC analyst Robert Gray? What are Herb's "technology analyst" credentials?

2. Does the list of Infiniband steering committee members/sponsors suggest that the Intel approach will be a "proprietaty niche/small market"?

3. Who are Herb's "Brocade source"? Greg Reyes? Do Herb and James Cramer own BRCD shares? Did Cramer get in at IPO pricing thru Friends of the Company program?

4. Does this deal help or hinder Ancor's prospects in getting any business with Intel/NT OEMs, ie DELL, CPQ,etc?

5. Should ANCR be valued simply as just another FC/SAN play OR will Wall Street "discover" the Future I/O standard as another "bandwidth" opportunity? Will the new IO architecture create another huge market to replace PCI-bus?????

PS - Herb's title "Changing the game"...is that the mark of a Gorilla or a Chimpanzee?? Did he consult with Mr Johnson of Robbie Stevens before he wrote that?
