New Distribution Agreement Expands Retail Presence of Your Video on the Web

$99.95 complete streaming video package begins shipping
ViewCast.com (NASDAQ: VCST) today announced an agreement between Hauppauge Digital Inc. (NASDAQ: HAUP) and Ingram Micro (NYSE: IM) to distribute Your Video on the Web to retailers in the United States and Europe.
Your Video on the Web was developed by ViewCast.com and is manufactured by Hauppauge Digital. The $99.95 package, which is now shipping, allows PC users to capture video from a camcorder and stream (broadcast) it over the Internet.
The agreement between Hauppauge and Ingram Micro will expand the retail presence of Your Video on the Web. As the world?s largest provider of technology products and services, Ingram Micro distributes products to some of the world?s best-known retailers and e-tailers. Details of the agreement were not released. The Your Video on the Web streaming video package is also available on www.yourvideoontheweb.com, ViewCast.com?s commercial web site dedicated to hosting home and small-business videos.

Your Video on the Web, based on ViewCast.com?s Osprey video card, is available in both PCI and USB versions. It enables people with home computers to capture video - weddings, graduations, soccer games, vacations, baby?s first steps, business presentations - from camcorders, VCRs or DVD players. Easy-to-use tools allow users to select the best parts of their videos, add titles, and even synch up a soundtrack. After a simple conversion into a streaming format, files can be automatically uploaded to www.yourvideoontheweb.com. On the web site, users can choose from a variety of online video album templates into which they simply drop their video, or they can design their own customized templates. Friends, relatives or business associates anywhere in the world can then use the free RealNetworks G2 player to view the video albums without lengthy download times.
The web site and Your Video on the Web Internet streaming video kit are being demonstrated in ViewCast.com Booth 803 at Streaming Media West in San Jose. Show attendees can videotape 30-second postcards for immediate uploading on www.yourvideoontheweb.com. Members of the media can videotape 1- or 2-minute reports that will be posted immediately to the web site. A password will provide easy access to the videos or the media can choose to make their reports open to the public.
