Xenos Group and IBM EDMSuite OnDemand Build e-connection Between Cable &
Wireless North America and Its Customer Care Representatives

Business Editors/High Tech Writers

DALLAS and TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 7, 1999--

Major global telecommunications company integrates customer
invoices from newly acquired company in record time,
maintaining superior levels of customer service

Xenos Group (TSE: XNS), a leader in software for online statement
and bill presentment, today announced that Cable & Wireless, a leading
global telecommunications services provider, will combine the power of
Xenos' e-commerce software with IBM(R) EDMSuite OnDemand, an
enterprise document management solution.
This technology will help enable Cable & Wireless to respond to
customer inquiries quickly and conveniently. It also enables the
company to integrate immediately important new customer information
during the acquisition process.

Situation: Vienna, VA-based Cable & Wireless recently had acquired a
new business unit, so the company needed to convert that business
unit's customer invoices into a format compatible with Cable &
Wireless' company-wide invoicing system.

Solution: Cable & Wireless' new invoicing system combines the power of
IBM EDMSuite OnDemand and Xenos' Documorph technology, enabling
Cable & Wireless to rapidly and seamlessly implement their
e-statements and e-bills. As a direct result, Cable & Wireless
was able to integrate its new acquisition's customer information
into its own invoicing system. Now, Cable & Wireless' customer
care representatives have immediate access to identical copies of
invoices received by their clients.

"The combination of these powerful e-commerce solutions from
Xenos and IBM gives Cable & Wireless a superior solution that makes
communication easier and more effective for those individuals
dedicated to serving our customers," said Jim Chadwick, senior
manager, Revenue Management Systems Group, Cable & Wireless. "That's
because customers and customer care representatives are both referring
to the same exact information presented in the same exact way. It
connects us with our clients in a more personal way."
A flexible and robust solution for online customer
communications, Xenos' Documorph is the only product today that
successfully handles all of the "big four" presentment standards:
HTML, PDF, TIFF and XML. The software enables companies to rapidly and
seamlessly implement their e-statements and e-bills.
"The instant and reliable retrieval of archived e-documents in
the format of choice is a vital component in providing electronic
document presentment for e-business," said Jim Kelly, vice president,
marketing, IBM Data Management Solutions. "We are pleased to have
Xenos Group as a partner and proud to have IBM EDMSuite OnDemand as a
part of the solution for Cable & Wireless."
This project with Cable & Wireless represents one of more than 10
projects for which IBM and Xenos have partnered to implement
comprehensive e-commerce solutions.
"Xenos is thrilled to play yet another major role along with IBM
EDMSuite OnDemand in the delivery of leading technologies that make
e-commerce easy for organizations like Cable & Wireless," said Martin
Heenan, President of Xenos Group. "In fact, Xenos Group will continue
to take the lead in the online bill and statement software market by
teaming with IBM EDMSuite OnDemand in future agreements designed to
deliver these superior e-commerce solutions to organizations around
the globe."
