Eric,

Only time will tell whether SUNW has gotten ahead of itself.
Anyone with a high P/E is laden with expectations, which could
come to a crashing halt if they don't deliver.

SUNW, however, has a history of delivering on their promises,
and has very little competition (2 to be precise) in the web-
server market, which is about 5% saturated. I keep asking
the same question: who else is out there to challenge SUNW's
dominance??? I haven't heard any replies yet.

CPQ may be inexpensive, at the moment, but I wouldn't buy it
just because of that. They have been struggling for a reason,
and their fundamentals have been on a downslide for over a
year now. What are they going to do to pull out??? Are their
ideas viable??? I haven't seen much yet.

They have decided to jettison NT on their Alpha's in favor of
Unix, a good first step, to be sure. What's next???
