Haven't your Heard! MSFT +~$9 today,came out With RECORD Earnings, over $1 BILLION in net earnings for this Quarter, yesterday. Over 8M Office 97 sold. I don't think Corel's REVs for a whole year even approach this. Unless Corel can make inroads into the Corporate market and show better earnings it will languish in the Dumps like the previous companies that MSFT slowly conquered. IE NOVL and Borland. NSCP is probably next. SUNW doesn't seem to be doing to well either. Add to the fact that ORCL has teamed with INtel and Lotus for their NC. Last I heard Corel Computer was going to use the Power PC chip. A previous point from MSFT's educational discount news was something like, if the Corporate market is using OFFICE 97 why learn WP,Quattro,etc. If you want a job chances are that if you know OFFICE 97 you can hit the new job running. cl
