Yes, exactly! I have always said to my friends and family that one should always pursue the path of moderation simply because extreme ups are always followed by extreme downs. It should be recognized as a universal law of human behavior. Maybe if Hari Seldon existed, he would tell us that it is an immutable law of psychohistory - one that simply cannot be denied. :)
