Who's left to partner with? - Local loops and last-mile: Maybe these don't happen if WCG is steadfast about being a carrier's carrier only. If they want to reach end customers though, they need a lot more. They can build, buy (from MFNX or Telergy), or acquire (regional CLECs like ALGX, ESPI, ELIX, GSTX, MCLD, ABIZ). At some point there will be a chain reaction and all the little CLECs will get gobbled up. Things might heat up once the BEL/GTE and QWST/USW mergers are finalized. - Colo: I don't know what WCG's status or plans are here. Earnings are pretty easy to manipulate at this stage. My guess is news and "the story" will drive the stock through 2000 not financials. << The stock is at the bottom of your target range.
