Thomas, your calm collected attitude is inspiring! I still love the company--I'm just surprised. I'm accustomed to Microsoft trying to dominate the standards boards, and use them to its own advantage. Here Sun is clearly the leader. Is IBM trying to play the Microsoft role here?

It sounds like Sun is rejecting "standardization"--though most of us know there really is no such thing. I guess I question the shunning of "political-correctness" on this matter. Then again, why they switched to EMCA from the god-like (for physics people like me) ISO is yet another mystery.

Meanwhile, I have to now take SUNW off my "Recommended" list, because I only put 5 stocks there. I think it will track the market for a while, and I expect more from the stocks I specifically recommend. Still love the company's creations, though!
