I think it's a dangerous mistake to think an apps company whose product is used by businesses can compare over the long term with an enabler whose product is used by businesses and any consumer above the age of 7. My point? If Siebel, Qualcomm and Gemstar live up to their potential as companies, I don't see Siebel's stock performing as well as the other two over the really long haul. (I don't know enough about CREE to have an informed opinion.)
