Sam, I used no racials slurs at all. I am a Brit, short for British. Japs is short for plural Japanese. Not a slur but a contraction and a pluralization. I would of course not use the traditional army slang terms for the assorted enemy nationals as that is in the past.
I have never heard of the terms 'Japs' used in any other way than as a contraction. There are Yanks for Yankees which is the old European slang term for "Yankee Doodles" which was a term of derogation.
In the UK in WW2 we used to say of the yanks, "
overpaid, oversexed and overhere"

In any event I intended no derogation by the use of the terms Jap or Japs as contractions of the full word Japanese.
If I want to tell you something in a derogatory way I will use non racial, dsecriptive terms, however I have never seen any other comments from you before this one.
