Straight,
It, IMVHO, is a controlled upward movement by the preferreds. Just like it was a controlled downward movement of the stock by the preferreds. Just look at the 1 or 2 year graph. The stock is up 72% in the last 5 or so weeks. I believe the preferreds are slowly releasing the short shares (covering).
I don't know what the future will bring, but there is immense interest in unified messaging and accessing the web. I see articles daily on this subject. This can be accomplished by a SR engine or chip (look at ISD or QCOM), a VUI, or a GUI (ie PDA).
My SWAG is that in the future (not to distant future) a SR chip will be used in the phone and will be accompanied by a VUI (GMGC or competitor) to access the web and email account. One example of a SR chip can be found at isd.com (I found this site this weekend). Also, read the post at the bottom of my post.
Look at the OnStar 3 button system. This right now basically enables a driver to press one button only before calling on the system. This is a great safety feature.
I am not discounting GUI whatsoever, but I think they can both definitely coexist.
I just hope that GMGC's work over the last year isn't for naught.
If GMGC is successful, the price will get there quick enough. Anyway, I will stop rambling. Take care. Kurt
PS HC, I saw the after hours trades and those shares that were trading high were only for a 100 shares here and there. I don't think it means that much.
PSS There is a good post from a little know poster who goes by the name of Hawkerp. I think he is a techno geek wannabe:) messages.clubs.yahoo.com |
