one out of 10? Yahoo page is closed down so I'll take it
on faith, that puts it close to 400? However, if you go searching
for the NYSE new lows in the newspaper tomorrow you won't find 10%,
the bottom scrappers are generally the interest-bearing preferreds
and other obscure issues that don't make it to the listings. Take
away everything that is paying better than 5% and count those with
a "d" in the column, it'll be closer to 30 than to 300.

Not to minimize the main point, however. Just the messy
aspect of "new lows" statistic. Especially when combined with new highs (which will mostly be tech companies).
