SAN and NAS I think the Gilder triggered perception that SAN is hyped and that NAS being a 'stupid storage' will eventually win is way premature. Looking at the players in NAS, only NTAP has surging revenues. Again, I suspect NTAP gets a major part of their revenues from web cache appliances (probably used for mirroring etc) rather than from enterprise applications or filers. Probably it is too early to call, I am playing both of them.
