I have a big loss. I received my offer today in the mail. I thought that when you bought stock in a company that you owned part of the company albeit a pretty small part. If you do not sell your shares how can the merger go through? Is not this like the guy who owns the house in the way of the highway and every one has sold out but him and the highway can not be built until he sells? Any responses are greatly appreciated.
