Track Data Announces Release Of LINUX and UNIX Versions OF myTrack SDK

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 8, 1999--Track Data Corporation (Nasdaq NMS: TRAC - news) announced today that it released several
new versions of its myTrack software developers kit (SDK). Track released SDK versions that run on Linux and Unix operating systems. Further, the previously released Windows NT
version of the SDK has been enhanced to incorporate myTrack's trading functionality.

The myTrack SDK allows programmers to develop their own applications using the same feed and set of features that are currently found in the myTrack product. This includes prices
from all North American and most European Exchanges, news from over a dozen sources, historical data, market statistics, and much more.

Barry Hertz, Chairman and CEO, stated, ``I'm very excited about this latest enhancement to our SDK. The addition of the trading module creates amazing opportunities for people to
create very sophisticated trading software; even 'black box' software that could actually automate many of the day trader's tasks. Given the recent excitement over the Linux operating
system, we are happy to satisfy that customer base as well.'

The myTrack SDK is available for a monthly data fee of $25 (the first month is free) and the user will pay any applicable exchange fees.

For more information about the myTrack SDK or to register go to mytrack.com or send e-mail to mytracksdk@tdc.com.

Track Data provides real-time financial market data, news, fundamental research, charting and analytical services to institutional and individual investors through dedicated
telecommunication lines and the Internet. The Company also offers online trading through its myTrack Internet-based personal investment service. myTrack is an Internet-based
software application that is not restricted by the limitations of an HTML website-based static system offered by virtually all of its well-known competitors. myTrack delivers a
continuous dynamic stream of live market data and investors' online trading activity. The system is always connected and is an order of magnitude faster than competing website-based
systems. Download myTrack software or open a trading account at mytrack.com or call 1-800-myTrack. Additional information may be obtained by contacting Laurel
