Lam Research Korea Seeks to Sell Semicon Factory in Chonan December 8, 1999 (SEOUL) -- Lam Research Korea Ltd. said it is ready to sell its semiconductor equipment factory in Chonan City, South Chungchong Province. "For the sale, our factory stopped operating," said an official of Lam Research Korea, a supplier of wafer equipment. After the sale, the Korean branch plans to import semiconductor equipment from the U.S. parent company. The sales price will be around 4 billion won, considering its annual sales at 40 billion won, said the company official. (1,150.10 won = US$1) Colliers Jardine Korea was selected to serve as the lead manager of the sale. (Maeil Business Newspaper, Korea)
